Events at North Beach

It is a proud tradition for North Beach PTA to host fun and enriching events every year to bring our students, families, and community together. North Beach Staff also run annual events, and sometimes the PTA helps support school events.

This list of annual events gives you a sense of the calendar at North Beach. The dates are typically scheduled at the beginning of the school year, and are subject to change. Please refer to the Upcoming Events page and Konstella for actual dates and event information this year.

This is Us Night

Join us Thursday, November 12, from 6:30-7:30 PM for This Is Us Culture Night, a fun and meaningful evening celebrating the people, traditions, and experiences that make our school community special! This Is Us Night is our newly reimagined Culture Night, where students and families can share a culture, country, family tradition, or even a favorite hobby or passion.  For this year’s event, we took time to reflect on how to make the night welcoming and meaningful for families. By reimagining Culture Night as This Is Us Night, our hope is to create a space where every student and family feels invited to share, whether that’s a cultural background, a family tradition, a hobby, a passion, or an experience that matters to them. Families are invited to host a table sharing something meaningful to them. You could share a country or culture, family traditions, favorite foods, music, crafts, languages, travel experiences, hobbies, sports, gardening, nature, community service, or stories about your family or neighborhood. Tables can include photos, displays, hands-on activities, or small demonstrations, whatever feels right for you! Students are also welcome to sign up to perform music or dance in small groups throughout the school.

Want to participate? Sign-ups will open the first week of November! Share what makes you YOU as we learn from one another, make connections, and celebrate all the things that make our school community unique.
